Joven or Blanco: This type of mezcal is bottled immediately after distillation, without any resting or aging period, thus maintaining the fresh aromas and flavors of the agave.
Reposado: Mezcal is aged for 2 to 12 months in wooden barrels, under controlled temperature and humidity conditions. This process provides additional smoothness and complexity to the flavor.
Añejo: Mezcal that ages for more than 12 months in wooden barrels, also under stable temperature and humidity conditions, developing a deep and mature flavor profile.
Matured in Glass: This mezcal is stored in glass containers for over 12 months, in a dark space with constant temperature and humidity. The glass containers, ranging from 5 to 20 liters, allow the mezcal to intensify its flavor over time, without the influence of wood.
Abocado with: Mezcal is infused with natural ingredients, such as fruits, herbs, or spices, to add a special flavor profile. They are commonly used with fruits and herbs.
Distilled with: This mezcal is made with additional ingredients in the still, such as fruits, spices, chicken breast, or meats, which are incorporated during distillation and contribute unique flavors to the final mezcal.
It is worth mentioning that Mezcal Amarás does not use animal products in the production of mezcal.
